Fourth of July is one of those holidays that makes me want to wear a theme-appropriate outfit yet not want to have to buy something new each year.
If you're like me, then you're in luck, because I went through my closet and put together some outfit inspiration for every style based on pieces you might already have in your closet.
Check them out:
The Classic All-American Girl

This outfit is perfect for anyone who wants to take the classic approach to celebrating Independence Day.
How to Wear: Tuck a patriotic shirt into a denim skirt of any length. You could also trade the skirt for a pair of demin shorts or jeans. Finish the look with a pair of neutral sneakers. Feel free to add some personality with accessories that let you shine.
My Exact Look:
Top: Pink Lily
Skirt:
Brand: Cello
Where I Purchased: These Three Boutique
Shoes: Converse
Floral on the Fourth

This outfit is perfect for anyone who wants to look flirty and feminine for their Fourth of July plans.
How to Wear: Choose a dress, romper, or jumpsuit that has a red, white, and or blue pattern. A statement top paired with white or blue denim would also work. The best part is that the bold outfit doesn't need a ton of extras to feel put-together, so a neutral shoe and minimal jewerly is enough.
My Exact Look:
Romper:
Brand: Sweet Lemon
Where I Purchased: These Three Boutique
Shoes:
Brand: Cushionaire
Where I Purchased: TJ Maxx
Denim and Diamonds

This outfit is perfect for anyone who wants to be trendy and make a statement at their friend and family get togethers.
How to Wear: A denim dress, romper, or jumpsuit works well for this look. You could also pair a denim top with denim shorts or jeans. Add as many diamond jewels and accessories as your heart desires!
My Exact Look:
Romper:
Shoes: Madden Girl
Sophisticated in Stripes

This outfit is perfect for anyone who wants to honor the importance of this holiday with a sleek, classy look.
How to Wear: A striped dress in the red, white, and/or blue color families (burgundy, cream, and navy totally count!) is the center of this outfit. Throw a coordinating blazer over it for an extra touch of elegance. Another take on this theme would be with a striped top paired with slacks or linen pants. Choose metal and/or pearl jewerly and accessories to complete the look.
My Exact Look:
Dress: Old Navy
Blazer:
Brand: Liverpool Los Angeles
Where I Purchased: Stone + Suede Boutique
Shoes: Christian Siriano
Easy, Breezy Patriotism

This look is perfect for anyone who wants to feel as laid-back and relaxed as their July Fourth holiday.
How to Wear: Mix and match a basic tee, jacket and shorts or pants that are solid colors in red, white, and blue hues. You can add just about any amount of jewerly and accessories based on your desired level of effort. As a bonus, pretty much any style of neutral shoe would work with this outfit to make it more casual or a little dressier.
My Exact Look:
T-Shirt:
Jacket:
Shorts: American Eagle
Shoes: Steve Madden
