We had a great weekend being touristy in Chicago as a family!

Our daughter is almost two, so we needed a schedule that would accommodate her needs (like snacks and naps) and interests.

I think I found the perfect itinerary to see some of the best attractions in Chicago while being toddler-friendly.

We were there over a weekend, which felt like the perfect amount of time.

We arrived in Chicago a little before 3pm on Saturday and left at 1:30pm on Sunday. We were able to see everything we wanted to without feeling rushed.

On Saturday, we visited Lincoln Park Zoo (which has free admission!) and Navy Pier (for dinner and some safe night life).

On Sunday, we went to the Shedd Aquarium (the main reason we wanted to plan this trip) and walked The Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue) for some shopping.

Below is a complete guide of our activities, including times and what it costed us! (spoiler alert: it's probably less than you think). You'll also find a downloadable version at the bottom for you to save and use to plan your own family's trip to the Windy City!
